How GE tax works
Tax is charged per item sold, not per offer. Floor of 2% of the unit sale price, then cap at 5 million gp on that item. Cheap items can round to zero. Old school bonds are tax-exempt.
Break-even buy is sale price minus tax on that sale. If you pay more than that, the flip loses gold even if the booth looks green. For a worked example, see the OSRS flipping guide.
