What GE Hound is (and what it isn't).
We care about GE data.
Every feature exists to help you move faster on the Grand Exchange — whether that's finding the next flip, timing an entry, or knowing when to sell without babysitting the Wiki.
Not Jagex. Not official.
We pull from the public OSRS Wiki API — the same data source used by many community tools. We are not affiliated with Jagex or the Wiki team.
Discord on your terms.
You add a webhook from a server you control. We POST to it when your price hits. Delete it anytime. We never store credentials.
No client access. Ever.
We don't touch the RuneScape client or your account. We read public price feeds and send notifications. That's it.

Common questions
Where does the price data come from?
The public OSRS Wiki API — the same feed many community GE tools use. Prices are guide prices on a refresh cycle, not every in-game tick, so you'll see a small lag versus the live game. Use alerts as a nudge to check in, not an exact fill guarantee.
Is it really free?
Yes. The free tier covers live GE prices, Flip Finder, watchlist, and Discord alerts. Pro raises limits and adds email — it's there when the free plan feels tight, not a gate on features you need.
Does flipping actually work?
Sometimes. Margins, volume, buy limits, and timing all matter. What works shifts when the game updates. GE Hound helps you move faster on a trade — it doesn't guarantee profit. You choose your risk.
Is this against the rules?
We only read public price feeds and send you notifications. We don't play the game for you or touch your client. That's a different world from botting or macros. We're not Jagex — if you're unsure, use your judgment.
What's the 70% rule?
A rough guide some flippers use: buy at or below 70% of an item's sell price to leave room for margin after GE tax. It's not a law — always check live spreads and what risk you can handle.
